Matthew 18:10-14 (NKJV) 10 “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. 12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

      • Their angels before the Father.
        • The Son of Man has come to save.
        • The angels of God are working to preserve these little ones for the day of their salvation.
        • Ryland and I were sharing angel protection stories yesterday.
        • I can say with a high level of confidence that 4 of my 7 and then include myself, that our angels have had their hands full.
        • Preserved to be prayed and won into the Kingdom.
      • Going after the 1.

• Who is your one?

  • The one is a person that we will continue to go after, pray for, and minister too many times in spite of whether we think they deserve it.
  • Who is your one?
  • The one is the one person in your life that keeps us going out of our way, spending some money on, helping anyway, the whole while believing for the Lord to do a work in their life.
  • Who is your one?
  • My family testimony:
    • When Jesus saved my in jail I was the third person I was a ware of in my immediate family to become a Christian.
    • After 31 years we Christinas are by far the majority with less and less hold outs.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Introduction:

  • Satan loves for the Church to undermine and not tap into it’s power source.
  • To be a powerless Church is only by choice.
  • To be a deceived Church is to not be the Church in the end.
  • Because the Effects of the Outpouring we have access to power.

1. God and His glory is the source of all power.

Revelation 15:8 (NKJV) The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

1.1. No one was able to enter the Temple until… because of His glory.
1.1.1. The priest could not minister in the temple until… because of His glory.

2 Chron 5:14 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

1.1.2. The power of God and the glory of God, connected.
1.2. Being filled with and having access too the glory of God is what separates us…
1.2.1. Moses said how will they know?

Exodus 33:15-18 (NKJV) 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” 17 So the LORD said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.” 18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”

1.2.2. There needed to be a separation from other people and from other belief system and from the false Church. (We will come back to this thought)

1.3.1. The earth was lighted with God’s glory.
1.3.2. Heaven has no need for electricity or natural gas…
1.3.3. One unnamed angel descending from heaven did the job.

1.3.3.1. An Angel of the Lord has no glory.
1.3.3.2. Yet having no glory within themselves this angel filled the earth with glory.
1.3.3.3. Being filled with power from the glory of heaven reflecting off his countenance while descending from heaven.
1.3.3.4. Angels are created different from humans in that they can withstand the G-force of heaven. (The Glory Forces) 1.3.4. The full manifestation of God’s glory would consume all His natural creation.

1.3.5. The glory of God is the source of all power.

2. The power of His glory releases us from the power of satan’s influence.

Acts 26:16-18 (NKJV) 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

2.3.1. He is the god of this world.

And from such people turn away!

2.4.3. Because they have rejected the Dynamis. ( Same dynamic from Acts 1:8)

2.5. The power of the Holy Spirit cuts through all the deceit.

2.5.1. Ela… the difference of trying to fillet fish with a butter knife or a razor sharp fillet knife that cuts through the flesh of the latest victim from the water like butter…

2.5.2. so does the Word of God empowered by the Spirit of God cut through the lies.

2.6. The Word must be empowered through faith in Christ and the Holy Spirit.

2.6.1. Or you are just a historian.

2.6.2. your head getting full of historical data that is unfruitful apart from faith in Christ and being filled with power from on high. .
